About the role

We’re looking for a creative technologist who’s excited about storytelling, short-form video, and the power of AI to join the team behind Shorts, a mobile app bringing cinematic, novel-inspired episodes to life in vertical video formats.

This role is all about using AI to craft emotionally engaging, fast-paced video stories -designed for audiences who binge dramas on their phones, one episode at a time.

What you will do?

You’ll be at the heart of our AI video production process. That means using tools to generate visual scenes, voiceovers, music, and motion - then pulling it all together into short, captivating episodes. 

We’re not talking random AI experiments - we’re building full narratives with clear visual direction and emotional impact.

You’ll help define and maintain the creative vision for each story, making sure the tone, pacing, and look all feel consistent from scene to scene. 

You’ll also be encouraged to explore new tools, test techniques, and bring fresh ideas to the workflow. 

Efficiency is important - we publish regularly - so figuring out how to speed things up without sacrificing quality is key.

Who you are?

• You’re obsessed with AI creative tools and constantly test the latest ones on the market to find the best combinations for production.
• You see AI not just as a set of tools, but as a new creative medium to reinvent storytelling.
• You understand how to orchestrate multiple AI outputs (visuals, voices, music, effects) into polished, story-driven assets.
• You’re fluent with platforms like ElevenLabs, Runway, Krea AI, Flux etc - and always eager to try the next emerging tool.
• You thrive in fast-paced production cycles, optimizing workflows and pushing quality while working under time constraints.
