About the role

We are looking for a general accountant to join the financial team and own all accounting end-to-end from daily bookkeeping and monthly closes to tax, consolidation, compliance, and ensuring everything is accurate, compliant, and scalable.

Please note that his is a part-time role at 80% (4 days per week).

What you will do?

1. Full Accounting Management

• Managing the accounting for all group subsidiaries (in France, the US and Switzerland)

• Recording, reviewing and validating accounting entries

• Managing fixed assets, provisions, expenses and revenues

• Performing bank reconciliations

• Preparing financial statements

2. Financial Closings

• Organizing and performing monthly and annual closings

• Preparing statutory financial statements

• Preparing audit files and documentation for external auditors

• Liaise with the FP&A team

3. Group Consolidation

• Preparing consolidated financial statements

• Harmonizing accounting practices across subsidiaries

• Analyzing financial performance

• Providing consolidated reporting to management

4. Tax Compliance

• Managing all tax filings, including:

  • VAT / Sales Tax

  • Corporate Income Tax

  • Local statutory tax filings

• Monitoring international tax regulations

• Liaising with external tax advisors

5. Compliance & Internal Control

• Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance

• Implementing and improving accounting procedures

• Securing financial processes

• Participating in external audits

Who you are?

Hard skills

• 6–8 years of experience in accounting or finance

• Strong expertise in multi-entity accounting, consolidation, and full accounting cycles

• Solid knowledge of international standards (French GAAP, US GAAP, Swiss GAAP)

• Proven experience in statutory & consolidated financial statements, audits, and external auditors

• Strong international tax knowledge (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, local filings)

• Financial & management reporting skills, with strong Excel proficiency

• Experience with accounting/ERP tools (e.g. ACD, Sage, NetSuite, QuickBooks)

• Good understanding of internal controls, compliance, and governance

• Tech and/or e-commerce background is a plus
